Northern Frights Festival is back this weekend!
The Northern Frights Festival is back for their fourth year and the lineup is horrifying! Haven’t heard of the Northern Frights Festival? Well, you’ve been missing out. The Northern Frights Festival is an international festival that screens some of the best short horror films from around the globe here in Sudbury. Many of the films you can see at the festival are being shown in Canada for the first time.
The festival takes place this Saturday, October 20th at the Sudbury Theatre Centre and starts off with the Mad Matinee. The Mad Matinee runs from 2:00pm – 3:30pm and tickets are only $10. If you want to spend the entire day at the festival, you can get your $20 ticket and after the Mad Matinee you’ll be able to check out the Murder Matinee from 4:15pm – 5:45pm and the Evil Evening which runs from 7:30pm – 10:30pm. So prepare yourself for a full day of terrifyingly terrific films!
There are four films from local northerners that you can catch at the fest this year – The Philanthropist, Dead Serious, Clown and Wisp.
