The pressure is on! The days are winding down and your time is running out to figure out the perfect plans to ring in 2020! There’s a lot to do and many options to consider so to help you out, we’ve compiled a round-up of events going on throughout the city to celebrate. NYE Family Fun Day – Safari Adventure – Science North (100 Ramsey Lake Rd), 11AM-5PM, Tickets: $15-27

Take a wild safari tour through the science centre and enjoy different activities and workshops that focus on all things science! Come dressed up as your favourite animal and spend the afternoon monkey-ing around with the Gym Zone and ARC Fitness. Plus, get a glimpse into wildlife and experience interactions with Hands-On Exotics, live science shows, face painting, and more!

35th Annual Resolution Run – 5-8PM, Running Room (1984 Regent St), Registration: $65

Why the Resolution Run® and Walk? Start the New Year off on the right foot by establishing or maintaining an active lifestyle. In addition to post-event refreshments, you will also receive a Unisex Resolution Run® Jacket.

New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu – Stack Brewhouse (947 Falconbridge Rd), 5-10PM, Tickets: $70

Join us on New Year’s Eve for dinner at Stack Brewhouse! Chef Nic will be preparing a four-course meal to ring in the new year, served with one of our favourite seasonal beers – Ball Drop! There will be one seating only and tickets are limited so make sure you get yours before they are all gone! Tickets are $70 each and include four courses and two drinks.

Reflect & Release New Year’s Eve – 6-8PM, The Essential Cove Natural Wellness Studio (1685 Lasalle Blvd), Tickets: $45

For most of us, looking back on 2019 fills us with happiness and joy as well as with sadness and regret. This class is designed to provide you the opportunity to look back at this past year and reflect on all your experiences. We will look at achievements and positive memories, celebrating and rejoicing in our successes. We will also reflect on those experiences which caused us sadness and regret. We will seek to learn from these experiences so that we can release the pain that no longer serves us. Free from negativity we can then move positively forward in gratitude.

The GREAT Gatsby Halcyon Days with Pandora Topp – 5:30PM – 1AM, Cedar Nest Decor Cafe (11 Cedar St), Tickets: $60-120

Help us bring back the 20’s and bring in the 20’s with our Gatsby Themed New Years Event! Our special live performance by the Halcyon Trio pays tribute to days past referred to as Halcyon Days. ‘Halcyon Days – Period of calm during the winter, when storms do not occur.’ Today the term is used to denote a past period that is being remembered for being happy and/or successful.

Tickets are available for a fabulous Prix Fixe Gatsby themed dinner for an early evening. Gatsby After Party with the Halcyon Trio live performance including appetizers starts at 9:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Or make a full night of it and buy tickets to both portions of the evening!

New Year’s Eve 2019 featuring Sugarboom – 6PM-1:30AM, Caruso Club (105 Haig St), Tickets: $100

Join us for New Year’s Eve 2019 at the Caruso Club featuring Sugarboom. Tickets available at the Caruso Club Office. Includes Hor D’Oeuvres, 5-course meal, party favours and complimentary Champagne at Midnight.

Taphouse New Years Party – 8PM – 1AM, Taphouse Northern Grill + Pub (1500 Regent St), Tickets: $35

Tickets on sale now, don’t miss out on dancing the night away with one of the best bands in Sudbury! $35 per person includes Live music, Party favours, Late night snacks and Champagne toast at midnight.

New Year’s Eve Bash at the Townehouse – 9PM-3AM, The Townehouse Tavern (206 Elgin St), Tickets: $20adv

New Year’s Eve with Pop Machine, Good Vibes, and Lion House! The night includes food, music, a buffet at midnight, party favors, and a toast as we enter the New Year. Your ticket gets you into the most reliable party in the city. The Townehouse will also be open for an extra hour this night, so get ready to celebrate until 3 am.
