9 Lives and Counting is a 4 piece power rock band fronted by Craig Burnatowski, with Peter Alexander on guitars. The rhythm section is Scott Everatt on bass and Laurentian alum, Jason Hutchings on drums. It is not uncommon to sit down at a dinner table and the meal includes meat, grains and potatoes. My question always is where are the vegetables? The answer I always get is potatoes are a vegetable. With fall in full swing, one of my favourite ways to warm the soul is a hot and hearty soup! This roasted butternut squash soup marries all the best flavours of the season… sweet potato, apples, nutmeg, and of course SQUASH! Two sisters united by environmentalism, feminism and maybe a bit of craft glue. Caitlin and Cassidy Mcauliffe call the outlying of Whitefish home, and perhaps it’s living with the best of nature literally in their backyard that made them so passionate about it.
