SOS: SAVE OUR THEATRE WITH SONGS OF SUMMER!
Theatre Cambrian is hosting “Songs of Summer Music Festival” this weekend! On Friday, July 28th, 2017 starting at 12:00 pm at Memorial Park, local talents Sex and Summer, Tea and Whiskey, Natalie Crispo, The Committed, Sugarboom, Be Here Now, Jopo and The Rize, Matt Neveau, Celine Tellier, and Larry Berro will take to the bandshell in a show to raise funds for the local theatre. On a true Sudbury Saturday Night at Theatre Cambrian, Taw Connors: The Canadian Stompper will be playing a tribute concert to his father, the late Tom Connors. To wrap up the weekend, Kass Bazinet will perform at the William Bell Gazebo as part of the Bell Park Concert Series at 6:00 pm on Sunday.
At Memorial Park downtown on Friday, concert-goers can enjoy the live music alongside local food vendors who will be on site.
The local not-for-profit charity has brought musicals and dinner theatre to Sudbury over the past 30 years and is looking for community support to keep producing shows at an affordable rate. The events on Friday and Sunday have free admission, with donations gladly accepted at the door. Tickets for Saturday night’s show can be purchased for $20 at the Theatre Cambrian Box Office 705 524 7317
Can’t make it out but still want to be part of the fun? Songs of Summer will be live streamed and you can donate online at: https://www.gofundme.com/theatrecambrian
