STC Announces 2018/19 Season and we’re excited!
The Sudbury Theatre Centre announced John McHenry as their new Artistic Director last December and he is delivering on his promise to bring some of the hottest shows and playwrights on stages across Canada to Sudbury. They recently announced their lineup for the 2018/19 season and we think you’ll be excited.

This great Canadians fascinating life story is presented as a concert with flashbacks to his early years on the streets and to his breakout success in Timmins.

The Birds and the Bees

By Mark Crawford and director Patricia Vanstone, this raucous funny comedy is about Gail, a retired empty-nester who has been quietly raising bees in solitude. Unexpectedly, her grown daughter Sarah returns home. It seems twenty years of artificially inseminating turkeys has taken a toll on Sarah’s love life, and she and her husband are through. As both women set about putting their lives back in order and reacquaint themselves with living under the same roof, they are visited by a strapping, young grad student who has come to study the declining bee population
