YIN YOGA WORKSHOP with Alison – Yin yoga explores a deeper yoga practice. Whereas “yang” style yoga such as vinyasa and power flow focuses on stretching and strengthening the muscles, yin emphasizes stretching connective tissue by spending anywhere between 2-20 minutes in a posture. This style of yoga is an excellent tool for deepening both your physical and mental practice, as well as getting to know your body in a more compassionate way through tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system.
