Jazz in the Park – Kicking off at noon with Toronto’s Turbo Street Funk the music will be playing all afternoon with local percussion master Jeff Stewart’s Afro Madness Drum Troupe, and Sudbury’s own Sarah Craig and Sunnyside Jazz will keep the party rocking to finish off the afternoon. Jazz Walk – The much-loved Jazz Walk event is back and bigger than ever! Follow this year’s special guests Turbo Street Funk as they lead you on a winding musical journey through Downtown Sudbury on Sept. 10, from 1-4p.m. The Jazz Walk gives you a chance to see headlining and local acts in a more intimate and personal setting. Beginning from Memorial Park, the first stop on the journey is the Fromagerie at 1pm to see the local LU Jazz Combo. Afterwards Turbo Street Funk will lead the crowd to Oscar’s Grill for 2pm for an upclose and personal performance with Jazz Sudbury Festival headliner Rita Chiarelli. The third and final stop is at the Red Fang Tavern for a performance with Jazz Sudbury Festival headliners The Lost Fingers! 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. @ Memorial Park

Autumn Kickstart Workshop with Ashley – Summer is coming to a close and many of us are eager to get back into routine, find some balance and detoxify. September is a great time to set some new goals and enjoy a fresh start to a healthy lifestyle. This workshop will be predominantly practice with a take home package for those interested in going further. I will introduce you to some pranayama (breath work) and then we will have an hour long detox flow yoga practice with a few restorative poses to finish and relax.
