Science Cafe – Diversity in Research: Are we there yet? – Diverse research groups have been shown to produce higher-impact research, and research with sample groups that reflect the diversity of the population is more robust. Are we where we want to be in attracting and supporting a diverse scientific workforce? How can we ensure that underrepresented voices are heard? And what’s the impact on individuals and the field of scientific research itself when we fail? 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. @ Laurentian University – 935 Ramsey Lake Road
