Tales of a Charlie Brown Christmas – Tales of a Charlie Brown Christmas is proudly presented by the Young Sudbury Singers in association with Jazz Sudbury. Drummer Jerry Granelli is the only surviving member of Guaraldi’s trio who recorded the iconic 1965 A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack. Today, he continues to honour the music in his live special performances. Parents and grandparents alike will have the opportunity to introduce jazz to a brand new generation as The Jerry Granelli Trio joins with the Young Sudbury Singers to recreate the magic of this classic album at Tales of A Charlie Brown Christmas on Friday, December 2, 2016, at 7 p.m., in the Fraser Auditorium at Laurentian University. Part concert, part screening, and part oral history, the show features performances of instantly recognizable tracks such as “Linus and Lucy”, “Skating”, “Christmas Time is Here”, and other seasonal treasures.
